Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Buttocks While Having Lumbosacral Radiculopathy
Question: I have spondylolisthesis grade1on L5 with ? Pars Defect at L5-S1 for the last 1&1/2 years...I am 45... I do regular exercise as shown by PT instructor..Mild pain at right buttocks...what should be done to stay active and to complete the working life till 60?

Weight reduction is a good idea.
Avoid lifting heavy objects, squatting position, stooping forward, sitting crossed leg.

Calcium and vitamin D supplementation can be taken.
Pain killers with muscle relaxant like Etoricoxib or Aceclofenac with Thiocholchicoside or Tizanidine can be taken for pain.
