1. Is There any swelling in the joints?

2. Is there any early morning stiffness??If yes for how long?

3. Any medications you are taking for the pain?

4. Do you get proper sleep at nights or is it disturbed due to pain

5. Any history of oral ulcers/hair fall

6. Any blood test which you got done

2. yes there is stiffness until about 30 minutes after I get up in the morning

4. Sleep is disturbed due to pain. I wake up every few hours.

Sorry for the late reply. Had a marriage function in the house, so got occupied there

Well, your symptoms do favor an inflammatory arthritis. I would recommend you get the following blood tests done:

1. ESR
2. CRP
3. CBC,
4. Rheumatoid Factor
5. Anti CCP antibody
6. Liver function tests

We need to figure out what sort of inflammation you have as the treatment will depend on it. With your Age, PMR( Polymyalgia Rheumatica) can be a possibility but one needs to get the other tests for arthritis as well which I have told. A short course of steroids may be helpful..But we will plan it after the investigations
