Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Left Testicle

default
Posted on Thu, 31 Aug 2017
Question: I am a married male of age 34 years,
Two years ago I mistakenly wore tight jeans , which caused too much pressure on groin area and had to work in sitting position in front of a computer for 8-9 hrs, after coming to home, I found my testicles were hot and were bit swollen, especially the left one, there was mild pain as well which vanished after a week. But the dragging feeling remained for couple of weeks. Now my problem is that when ever I have to work in sitting position for prolonged time the dragging + slight pressure problem reappears, there is no pain anywhere, no pain during urination, urination pressure is normal, no pain during ejaculation as well, no pain even while I have to walk or stand for hours. Only discomfort feeling under left testicle while prolonged sitting. I did a self examination , unable to find any lumps, nor any swollen area, both testicles look identical in size as well. only thing is that right testicle is lower than left testicle. Another confusing thing I have found is that I get relief after ejaculation sometimes. What could be the issue with me? To mitigate the problem, I often lift the testicles while sitting and it provides relief. I no longer wear tight jeans.

Brief Answer:
Need to consult qualified Urologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query
Based on the history that you have posted I think the pain in left testical that you have could be due to congestion of testical .

I would suggest you to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following tests done to establish diagnosis
1) Urinalysis and Urine culture
2) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and Scrotum
3) XXXXXXX Doppler study of Scrotum

In the mean while you can start using Scrotal support regularly

Further treatment will depend upon the results Of these tests

Hope I have a answered your query Please feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Thanks and Regards

I don't have pain, but a dragging feeling while sitting which could be described as if some friction is there between the scrotum sac and thighs, I have very dry skin under side of scrotum sac and the inner closing point of legs, I often use mustard oil to ease the friction.

Could it be Varicocele ?
