Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Testicles
Question: For the past few weeks I have been experiencing mild to moderate pain that comes and goes in my testicles. There has been no swelling or discoloration, but they are constantly very sensitive. I am 44 and sexually active, but with only one partner since the pain began. Nothing seems to cause pain to come and go, but at times it can border on severe, even when inactive.
Brief Answer:
Testis ultrasound should be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Usually such symptoms are caused by a varicocele - varices of spermatic cord. If so, you should be able to palpate a kind of noodles in the scrotum.
Other possible reasons of such pain are inguinal hernia, testis cyst, testis inflammation, prostate inflammation. The worst possibility is a testis tumor.
That is why, it is advisable for you to consult urologist and have testis ultrasound done.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
