Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Throat While Having Sinus Infection

Question: I am a 65 year old woman. This morning my draoning sinuses were making it hardto swallow. Then. It became very painful. What can be causing this

It may be an infection in the sinuses.. Kindly do steam inhalation and try anti allergics..

I also wanted to tell you that i had a pain in my throat as if there was a bubble of air in fromt of the swallow pf water. As the day progressed the pain moved from my throat down my chest .

Well, I am not an expert in this disease But can give you a guidance.

For the sinuses if they are that tough, you need to get a CT done for it. CT will detect the inflammation and further management needed. At times, the cleaning is needed and at other times, medical therapy works. But continue with steam inhalation and Anti allergics. Sinuses can cause POst-nasal drip( feeling of trickling down the throat), so we need to decongest them.
