Suggest Treatment For Pain In Thigh With Difficulty In Bending And Raising Leg
might be having O.A. of lumbar spines, go for investigations, consult spine specialist
Detailed Answer:
Hi, XXXX,
Thanks for posting query on Health Care Magic.
Read your problem and symptoms in detail.
Having Sciatica pain, difficulty in bending and raising leg on stool and precipitating while long sitting.
These all signs might be due to pinched nerve pressure due to some degenerative changes in your lumbar spines and inter-vertebral discs producing pressure or irritation on nerves.
There might be having osteo-arthritis of spine giving all problems.
At this age and due to menopause there might be having some osteoporosis in bones precipitating pain, stiffness etc.
Therefore if I am your treating doctor I would like to go for,
1, X-ray lumbo-sacral spines,
2, MRI of lumbar spines,
3, Calcium and Vitamin D Serum level.
I advice you to consult orthopedic surgeon or spine specialist.
You might require,
Physiotherapy like back extension exercises, short way diathermy and lumbar traction as advised by your treating doctor.
Meanwhile take calcium and vitamin D3 and B1, B6, B12 supplements.
Go for back extension exercises.
Avoid more bending from back, avoid weight lifting.
Go for slow walking exercise.
I hope I answered your query to your satisfaction.
If you have further query or clarification please write me back.
Wishing you speedy recovery.
