Brief Answer:
May be postural related.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
According to your explanation your pain may be postural related or due to stress.
Avoid keeping neck in one position. Watching TV or staring at computer in same position may leads to pain. You should take break for 10 minutes every 2 hours at your work.
Avoid using high pillow.
You can apply topical analgesics like Volini gel.
Hot fomentation will help you. I suggest you do neck exercises or yoga.
You can take muscle relaxants sparingly which you had in last week.
Do not skip meals.
If you will not feel better after one week with aforementioned suggestions then I suggest you get an X ray of cervical spine.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
