Could I have sores in my uretha?
Brief Answer:
Less likely to be HSV infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Antibody positivity to HSV may occur normally with oral herpes
Genital herpes is usually by HSV 2 but can occur with HSV1 also . There are no vesicular lesion present in and around penis. So less chances of hsv infections.

Yeah but why wouldn't it clear up already with all the meds ? Re read all the meds I'm taking on top.. I read somewhere that burning while you pee is a symptom of gentail herpes 2..?
If I had sores would they be inside my uretha? Like in the middle that's where I feel discomfort

Brief Answer:
Repeat the test
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for responding. It is more likely to be urinary tract infection, however if you are not relieved by antibiotics even after 7 days, then I would suggest you to get your repeat test for HSV and also get urine routine and microscopic test, along with urine culture and sensitivity test done.
Urine culture and sensitivity test is done to find the bacteria which is causing the infection and appropriate antibiotics are given.
Yes, there can be a possibility of HSV 2,.and therefore get the test repeated to confirm the diagnosis. Sores are unlikely to be inside the urethra.
