Suggest Treatment For Pain Near Head Of Penis And Foreskin

Question: My friend just came home and is complaining about pain on his foreskin. The pain is coming from a line on the underside of his foreskin near the head of his penis. The line goes from the head of his penis to the scrotum. The line is very red and swollen at the head of his penis, however the line that goes down toward his scrotum isn't in pain. Can you tell us what it might be? Thank you

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your friend has inflammation of frenulum ,a band that connects foreskin to glans penis.

If he is able to retract foreskin there is nothing to be worried about .

Ask him to take antibiotics like Cefexime along with anti inflammatory medicine like Diclofenac twice daily with topical soothing cream of Hydrocortisone for local application.

Get the prescription from family physician,.

It should get cured within 4-5 days.
