Brief Answer:
Parotid gland inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

In the area described by you parotid gland is located. Swelling and pain in this area is most likely caused by parotitis (inflammation of the parotid gland). Such inflammation is usually caused by bacterial infection (Staphylococcus aureus). In other, much less often cases such swelling can appear due to autoimmune inflammation or blockage of the main parotid duct due to stone or vary rarely tumor.
With an infection you may have also fever and chills.

If the swelling has appeared due to some injury, fracture can be the reason. Teeth abscess can also give similar swelling.

I suggest you to consult laryngologist at first. Ultrasound should be done and antibiotic give in case of an infection.
If teeth can be the reason, please consult dentist.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
