Brief Answer:
Most possible muscle inflammation. Other options explained.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I saw your photos.

It seems like it is a muscle contraction.
I am not sure if that its the case, but there can be also a broken rib in case you have hit it.
Also we want to make sure it is not an abdominal hernia- if it bulges more when you cough or bare weight.
Sometimes in that area a vein gets inflamed. If you feel a cord in the line of that swelling, then its time to see a doctor because an inflamed vein would need antibiotics to get treated.

What I would recommend treating it with is:
-- Apply locally analgesic cream and massage it gently.
-- Take a pain killer which will help with the pain and also with the inflammation.
-- Apply ice locally- will help you feel better.

Give it time to heal. If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor, so they can examine you and understand what its going on by close look.

Hope this is helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for the follow up question.

I still would recommend following the above advises.

It looks like, from the possible diagnoses mentioned above it is more possible to be a muscle pull/inflammation.

If worse or not better see a local doctor or follow up with me if you wish.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
