Suggest Treatment For Painful Anal Fistula
His told me to apply Cotton soaked with MagSulph solution in Warm Water about thrice daily, along with Kasisadi Oil, everytime after passing stool, along with a stool softener. There was improvement immediately... and both the swelling and pain decreased a lot.. but even after 1 month it did not increase completely... what is happening it sometimes gets ver decreased but then increases again.
When I was very fed up, one of my friends suggested Anovate cream.. that too i used for 1 week, but again, after initial relief, it doesn't get completely cured.
I consulted another allopathy doctor, who diagnosed the swelling (which was almost unnoticable now) as a very primary stage of fissure but not fissure yet.. and he suggested antibiotic Lincef for 5 days twice daily and another 5 days if problem persists... but even after 10 days... problem is still there... not much change...
Everytime I take a new medicine.. it decreases initially but then after sometime again increases, again decreases.. but does not get completely cured...
To be noted... the smal swelling is outside the anus area, somewhere around 6 0 clock position.. it pains when I sit or I press around the area... but I have never felt pain while passing stool.
PLease let me know what should be done.
Small fissures can be cured by proper conservative management.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Small fissures can be cured with out surgical intervention.
1. You should take high fiber diet daily. Vegetable salads and whole fruits should be included.
2. Taking stool softeners will be helpful. You can take non habit forming stool softeners like softovac.
3.Soaking the area in warm water for 15 minutes several times a day especially after bowel movements will be helpful. This will give relaxation of sphincter and aid in proper healing.
4.Nitroglycerine or diltiazem cream will be helpful for local application. This will help to increase blood circulation and faster healing.
5.In case of any discomfort or itching corticosteroid creams like hydrocortisone can be used also.
6. Also drink more plain water daily. Avoid straining for stools.
7. Have proper physical exercise daily which will helps in easing bowel movements.
If you do these measures properly it will heal within few weeks.
If such measures are not helping in healing then you can approach a General surgeon for surgical management. Surgery is cutting some portions to relieve spasm to aid faster healing.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
Also I have been given stool softeners by the Ayurvedic Doctor as well as Laxit Plus by the 1st allopathic doctor.. but when I tale them regularly, the stool softens too much and I have to go multiple times. So what should I do. WIll softovac be diffrent?
Explained below.

Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up.
Kasisadi oil can be continued by your ayurvedic doctors advise. If you wan't to follow allopathy medicine then you can use anovate cream. But if there is no improvement then better to switch on to nitroglycerine cream. Nitroglycerine cream you can get over the counter.
Stool softeners should be used till you get complete healing. Softovac is also an ayurvedic proprietary medicine which doesn't cause habit forming. So better to take this than laxit plus. When you take stool softeners you will get 2 to 3 bowel movements per day. You can decrease the dosage if you are getting bowel movement more.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
