Question: My husband dropped' his motorcycle when starting off on loose gravel. It caused a painful bruise & a knot along w/ it on his calf. It is hot to the touch & extremely painful; the foot shows discoloring on the ankle & along bottom of foot. Nothing's broken but it seems to me that this might be a bone bruise (my unprofessional diagnosis). What to do?

Brief Answer:
it is most probably collection of blood

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case.I think it is most probably collection of blood in the calf. It is a common condition and this blood will dissolve its own. It can take up to six weeks. Before I advised you any thing I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1.Is he able to walk on affected foot?
2.Is he Diabetic?
3.Is he taking any medication for blood pressure or blood thinner?
Please send me answers of these questions.I will try my best to help you.
thanks
