Suggest Treatment For Painful Intercourse After Total Hysterectomy
Question: I am 69 years old, had a total hysterectomy at age 45. I have used Premarin vaginal cream without satisfactory results. Intercourse Is so painful I find myself avoiding intimacy. Can Osphena help me?12 years ago I experienced multiple organ failure after surgery, spent 3 months on life support, dialysis, and recovered against all odds. I also had a colectomy in 1993, so I have no colon and deal with "short bowel syndrome" and chronic malabsorption of nutrients and fluids. I must guard against dehydration and anemia, but have relatively good health otherwise. Will this interfere in any way with using Osphena?
Brief Answer:
It will help.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Osphena will help in controlling your symptoms but you should take it only after consulting your gynecologist.
It is not recommended in a history of Heart Attack, Acute Blood Clots, Stroke Liver Disease, Bleeding tendencies, Breast Cancer, etc.
It is necessary to rule out all the risk factors before starting with it.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
