Suggest Treatment For Painful Intercourse Despite Taking Medication For Yeast Infection

Question: Hi, i would like to ask, i was having yeast infection few days ago and just treated. But still its burning when my bf pennis is enter in my vagina. And he also feel that.since he got redness spot on the head of his pennis and rednes on foreskin. He been applying a anti fungal cream. And i was applying neoderm cream. And we already drink antifungal medicine. It just 3 days ago and we try to intercourse again. But we decide to stop because we both feel burning when he enters in my vagina. I stop putting creams because its not itchy anymore. It just burning when he enters. Its 3days ago i go check up. The singapore doctor treated me. Put a 1vaginal cream and he spray a betadaine and clean inside my vagina because i was having so much fungus and white discharge. I dont have discharge now. And its no itchy anymore after 2days treatment but it just burning when we intercourse. My bf still have redness spot on the head of his pennis and also redness in foreskin. So we decide we wont have sex until its gone

I understand your concern and as per your scenario it seems to be related :
1.short antifungal treatment
You need to continue treatment,treatment should last five to seven days(neoderm cream)
2.or/with from superposition of another infection
It may be and herpes simplex virus infection while you refer that your boyfriend has redness spot(red spots where like blisters or not)

Hence continue treatment also for 2 to 4 days and interrupt intercourse during treatment and get re-checked .

Hi thank you doc. Its a redspots on the head of his pennis. Its like blister but not blister. Its just spot red like mosquito bite.And the foreskin is red. Is it ok he use lamisil for his pennis. Do i need to drink fluconazole again. Or just the neoderm cream treatment until 5-7days? My doctor given me canditral capsule.1day and half day. We both take it. I know how looks like herpes. Because i have it once year in my lips. The pennis of my bf looks like irritated.

Hi again!

1.If it is only irritated ,than he should have warm baths adding betadaine sol (one liter of water adding two table spoon betadaine)
And he can use lamisil cream with another oral dose of antifungal ,fluconazole or canditral.

2.You should continue treatment also for 2 to 4 days with vaginal creams (you can have vaginal douches with that solution I have mentioned above ,prior to cream),and another dosage of fluconazole or canditral.

3. Don't have intercourse during this time .

Thnks doc. What kind of betadiene i need to mix up to wash? And doc i was easily get dry my vagina and makes my bf pennis in painbcz he cant go in my vagina. Is theres recommended for dryness
