Suggest Treatment For Painful Intercourse

Question: I am 74 yo. In the past 2-3 years, I have experienced small tears at the juncture of the shaft and glans, typically after intercourse, what might be the cause, and will a lubricated condom help in preventing these injuries. My wife has only minimal vaginal atrophy, and I use lubricant, usually olive oil. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
The lubrication might not be sufficient!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these tears after intercourse. This is suggestive of poor lubrication coupled with the fact that your wife has vaginal atrophy. I will suggest that you try to use more lubricant during future encounters to prevent these tears. Have you ever used condoms during intercourse? Were the tears still evident?
I hope this helps and do hope to hear from you. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
