Hi,
I am so sorry to hear about this lump that you have reported. The description of these symptoms is suggestive of a possible abscess. Abscesses are infections of the soft tissues caused by germs. If you and an injection in they area recently, this might be the reason why.
I will suggest you send an image to us is possible. At your age, I will not like to take any chances. Therefore, I suggest you plan to get this lump examined by a physician, too.
I hope this helps. I hope to hear from you. Let me know what your thoughts are. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
