Brief Answer:
seems to be an inflammatory swelling.
Detailed Answer:
hi,
This seems like an inflammation in your foot and ankle.
If it appeared suddenly then there is a possibility of arthritis.
the causes of arthritis could range from reactive arthritis to gout.
another possibility is swelling due to recurrence of sprain, sometimes the injury may not be apparent. lymphoedema can also produce swelling unilaterally.
I would suggest that the anti inflammatory medication should continue.
you should undergo routine blood examination like complete blood counts, ESR,C reactive protein, urine routine examination and serum uric acid levels.
If these suggest a particular problem, it should be addressed.
