Thank ypou dfoctor. I stated the diagnosis incorrectly.
The patient presented complaining of a swollen and painful eye (right eye only). He also sinus problems and pain around the nose. The swelling of the eye had occurred overnight. He was seen at 7 am the next day. I forwared a photo showing his condition.
What is the proper treatment for the patient?

Brief Answer:
Ophthalmitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
The patient is having eye infection but whether it's due to sinusitis or not, it can be diagnosed only on CT paranasal sinuses and examination. if the patient has history of sinusitis, he must be immediately put on antibiotics and nasal decongestants. It is definitely not allergic as it's on one side only.
Further management will depend on the CT report and retiniscopy if the patient.
Any further questions are always welcome.
