Brief Answer:
Soft footwear / knee cap will help

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

Standing on the concrete for such long period of time puts a lot of stress on the knee ligaments and muscles around the knee, causing pain.

If possible,he can sit for 10-15 minutes every hour to ease the pressure over the knee.

If this is not possible,he can wear compression bandage or knee cap around the knees during the working hours and use a footwear with soft insoles. This will give much relief from the pain.

Knee strengthening exercises will be helpful.

The knee cap should be removed for 15 minutes after every hour.

Taking calcium / vitamin D supplements will strengthen the knee bones.

Analgesic anti inflammatory tablets should be taken if the pain is severe.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Thank you.
Kind regards.
