Question: I had a severely painful arthritis episode in my left elbow. it was onfire. it subsided. I had a bought with excessive fatigue this week today I have sores all over my head and painful glands swollen and hard behind my ears. no sore throat and on 99 fever.

All your symptoms sores in head and the glands behind the ear are swollen are mostly suggestive of viral fever.
There is no necessary, that you should have throat infection for the glands to swell.
Your fever may last for 5 to 7 days.
Paracetamol can be taken for fever 6th hourly.
If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated.
