Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Welcome again .
I have read your query and gone through the report(image) you have attached as far as I have observed pain and swelling is due to formation of pus ( abscess ) in gum that is known as periodontal abscess . As she has consulted dentist and your dentist has advised medication Amoxycillin and metronidazole for pain and swelling so she can take medicine and go for treatment . See Jackmaxxe treatment for periodontal abscess is drainage of abscess with gentle irrigation and Curettage (scaling of pocket ) . So for this I will suggest you to consult your dentist, discuss about treatment plan and go for treatment .
Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help.
