Brief Answer:
Ulcers or infected wound...

Detailed Answer:

Hi XXXX,

Thanks for posting this query

After going through the description, I'm of the opinion that you could be having either ulcers or infected would over the traumatized area.

A thorough examination of the oral cavity helps in identifying the cause. Even though mouth wash helps in reducing the severity of the infection, appropriate treatment should be aimed at alleviating the problem.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Consult your doctor for a complete examination and management.
2. Drink plenty of warm water.
3. Avoid chilled food and beverages, coffee, smoking and fizzy drinks.

Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
