Suggest Treatment For Pale Stool, Fibroids, Low Thyroid, Alternating Constipation And Diarrhea

Following answer to your query...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
You are reporting to have experienced alternate constipation and diarrhea over two months now, which is typical for patients with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). The pale stool may be related to increased bowel movement, which is also very common in this patients.
However since you are suffering from low thyroid hormones, it's essential to know if you are taking any thyroid hormones therapy. Are you taking any treatment for thyroid problems? If yes what medication (and what doses) you are taking?
Mean time I would like to suggest:
- To do hormone and especially thyroid hormones levels
- use probiotics
- drink plenty of waters
- avoid unnecessary stress
- use chamomile tea
- increase physical activities
This will help to relieve some of your symptoms.
I'm waiting for more information about thyroid treatment.

You mentioned that the pale stool may be related to increased bowel movements, however I only have a bowel movement every 4 days approx. I have had my thyroid tested recently and I have high TSH and T3 and T4 are within the normal range. I am postponing treatment for my thyroid until I have the results of my adrenal tests as I am aware that it is best to support adrenals if necessary first before supporting the thyroid. I am also having tests for hormone and gut function.
I used to have regular bowel movements until I gave up alcohol and food intolerances 2 months ago and I'm concerned as to why I'm now getting this constipation, diahorrea and now today pale stools? I also have candida.
Start antifungal treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Based on the new data you put in I would like to say that:
1. Since your thyroid levels were normal than your symptoms aren’t directly related to hormonal imbalance.
2. Your problems are commonly related to bowel candida infection, which is manifested with diarrhea and pale stools.
3. Alcohol withdrawal and bacterial bowel flora imbalance altogether with candida overgrowth may trigger IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), which is manifested with alteration of episodes of diarrhea and constipation.
This is why I would like to suggest the following measures in order to relieve your symptoms:
- Start to use probiotics
- Start antifungal treatment like nystatin(you need prescription)
- Avoid unnecessary stress
- Use plenty of water.
Wish you fast recovery
