Suggest Treatment For Paralysis Caused By Blood Clot In The Brain
Question: Hi, My Mom had a hip surgery which seem to go well. But during recovery after surgery she got complications (blood clot in the Brain ) that has paralyzed her right side (leg and hand). She is in ICU reveiving clot dissolver medicine. So far the leg and hand function has not restored (just very minor improvement so far). Any new treatment, medicine , suggestion ?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..
actually she have to stay in icu for restoration of her blood normal viscosity as she have to dissolve this clot to allow her brain cells to get supplied again ,you have to ask about underlying DVT or causes of the clot and ask for treatments like an IVC ( heart filter ) filter to protect her from another one and to maintain her blood INR stable to prevent HHg or a clot , take care of her bed sores always happen in bed ridden patients in ICU .after that physiotherapy and phsycotherapy have a good rule returning her as normal as possible and dont worry about your mom she will pass this but you have to be patient and alert for the points i told you about .
