Brief Answer:
Proper investigations to find out the root cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, short and specific.

Noted your history of Parotid gland inflammation, tender on talking loud, dryness on left side of tongue and left tonsil area, using antibiotic and Chlorhexidine mouth
wash as advised by your Doctor.

May I please know a few details?
- Since when have you got this problem?
- Any investigations done?
- Any anti-inflammatory medicines are you taking and which antibiotic are you taking?

The commonest causes are:
Infection in the gland due to retrograde infection from oral cavity may be due to caries tooth or so.
Stone in the duct of the gland.
Stricture of the duct and its branches
Occasional tumor

Since there is no saliva flowing from the same sided parotid, the area on that side will be dry.

I would advise you the following:
Continue the antibiotic, add-on anti-inflammatory if not taken.
Tests of blood, urine.
CT scan of the parotid and the surrounding area.
Sialography.
These will help to get a proper underlying cause and guide for further proper treatment.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and treatment ASAP, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
