Posted on Mon, 3 Nov 2014
Question: I have a pea sized movable lump in the top of my left foot. It seems to move along a vein. It doesn't hurt but once in awhile but I van literally move it up and down about 2 inches. Any ideas of what it is and should I seek medical attention?

Brief Answer:
Benign cyst most likely ganglion

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
After going through the description, it is most likely a non serious (benign) ganglion cyst. These usually do not cause any symptoms and requires removal when they become painful and for cosmetic reason.
To help you better please tell me -
Is there any trauma?
May send the picture of foot if possible.
Hope this helps.I shall be glad to answer any further query.
Take care.

It is the lower left spot you can sort of see in the picture. It definitely throbs a little and can move up and down. If it is a ganglion cyst I guess it's in early stage from looking at Google images? it is pea sized.
