Suggest Treatment For Peeling Skin Inside The Nostrils
Question: I have a recurring sore/peeling skin inside of my nose. I'm not sure how to accurately describe it except for one day I thought it was a loose booger and when I went to pull it out it stung and then it bled and it was a rolled up piece of skin roughly the size of half a XXXXXXX it has been reoccurring for about the last 3 or 4 months. in order to soothe it, I put a little bit of healing ointment on a Q-tip and rub it on the inside. It doesn't hurt per se but it burns a bit. and I've never experienced anything like it. I don't know if it is relevant but I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last year and have been on delzicol to manage it. it comes back a couple of weeks and then it last for a couple of weeks. also please pardon the bad grammar I am using talk text as I am on my cell phone thank you in advance.
Brief Answer:
granulomatous disorder of nose.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having granulomatous disorder of the nose which is charecterised by mucosal tag and non healing ulcer in nose. Do not nose pick. It may start bleeding. This needs routine clinical evaluation and treatment. may need blood work also. There is no over the counter drugs for this except healing cream as you are already using. I would suggest you to consult with the ent specialist and get evaluated properly. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
