Suggest Treatment For Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Question: What is the treatment for a contracted pelvic floor after physical therapy has been exhausted?

Are you familiar with unconventional treatments such as: cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, or myofascial release? Also, have you heard of structural energetic therapy? Could any of these treatments be helpful for a contracted pelvic floor? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Yes, the mentioned treatments could be beneficial.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The underlying cause of this muscular contracture needs to be evaluated. If physical therapy has failed to yield results the unconventional treatments can be attempted. I am familiar with the unconventional therapies. Botox treatment or structural energetic therapy can be used. If that does not suffice the next step would involve myofascial release and visceral manipulation. Cranial sacral therapy can also be done. The results are likely to be beneficial.

Let me know if I could help further.
