Suggest Treatment For Penile Infection
Question: hello doctor ,i have a problem of penial infection ,could you pls help me

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
It could be balanitis or balanoposthitis (infection of glans penis)
Can you please take a clinical photograph and upload it so that i can have a better diagnostic view.
It would be also helpful for me to diagnose and rule out, if you could say if is there is any history of unprotected intercourse?
The important thing is to diagnose it first by a clinical examination by a general surgeon by doing inspection and palpation.
The following treatment would be helpful.
1) Hot Sitz bath-
Sit for 15-- 20 minutes and also clean off any clear or whitish secretion. Do it at least twice a day.
2. Local Steroid cream/ointment application- Clean off and wipe off the area clean and dry,following which apply local Steroid Ointment Like Betamethasone The infection should start subsiding after 3 to 4 of Ointment application.
3. You can be given oral antibiotics like cephalosporins (cefadroxyl or cefixime) or quinolones or macrolides.
You should consult general surgeon who can prescribe the above treatment after taking complete medical history and thoroughly clinical examination.

iam using now fucidin cream and augmentin .i start this one week before but i canot see any changes

Augmentin is a very good antibiotic but the dosage is 625 to be taken at twice daily.
Fusidic acid is a bacteriostatic antibiotic which may not be so suitable for balanoposthitis rather you should apply topical steroid like Betamethasone as I suggested earlier.
As this steroid cream is a prescription drug,you will have to see some local doctor who will know it well and can prescribe you.
