Brief Answer:
please have courage & start antidepressant

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand that you are undergoing therapy - but the stressor is significant and due to your complaints of having persisitent suicidal ideas -I would advice that you must see a psyhiatrist & should start some anti depressant medicine for some time to tide over the crisis.

For the time been, you should try to be with other family memebers / close friends and not stay alone.
Please share your feelings with someone close, sharing always reduces the pain/ suffering.

Idea to harm oneself is not good. You have been figting with diabetes and other illnesses( mentioned in the question) bravely uptill now- you must face the current problem with some strength.

In life one thing or the other continues to happen but life should always move on...so, choose to live and please start medicine as suggerted by the psychiatrist.
Had i been seeing you, i would have put you on sertraline. This is a good molecule and safe in your case. Your doctor would know about this.

May God give you strength to come out bravely..
Wish you god luck
