Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cold And Cough While On NyQuil
Question: Both my husband and I have had cold with severe coughing for over a week. My husband took two rounds of Cortison HCP and we have both taken NyQuil cough suppressant at night to help us sleep. Is there a better cough suppressant we might try. We both take medication for high blood pressure.

We do not have any pain such as headaches or muscle aches. Just really bad coughing especially at night. So do not see need to take paracetamol. Am I missing something or would you agree?
