Brief Answer:
Possibility of a bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for the query.
The symptoms of cold and cough with or without fever are usual in " Flu" which is a viral infection and which settles by itself. If similar symptoms recur it is likely to be a bacterial infection and may require an antibiotic.
If symptoms are getting worse, it is better to have yourself examined by a doctor who will decide on the need for antibiotics which are prescription medicines.
