Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cold
Question: I get cold very frequently. Almost everyday in the morning. Sometimes I gets ok in 10-15 mins sometimes it lingers on for the complete day. There is also an itchy feeling in the nose which is very irritating. Congestion during cold also causes pain in ears.

Dear all these symptoms typically occur in Rhinitis(allergy and inflamation of the nose). Since there are many factors ,which can cause rhinitis.For example house dust,pollens,pets,food allergy,weather change (spring and early summer) and family history of allergy etc.I would like to ask that wether these symptoms happen during some particular season and do you have any family member having the same symptoms on and off.
To diagnose wether it is a food allergy, skin prick test ( a pin prick test to diagnose any type of food allergy) is adviced Also recognize and note down which are the triggering factors causing these symptoms,so these can be avoided further.
For treating these symptoms antihistamine nasal drops and antihistamine tablets and steroid nasal drops can be used after discussing with the treating doctor.
