Brief Answer:
Get done chest x ray.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
You are having chronic cough.
And in asthmatic patients, causes for chronic cough are
1. Lung infection
2. Worsening of asthma
3. URTI ( Upper respiratory tract infection ).
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system.
2. Chest x ray.
3. PFT ( pulmonary function test ).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
PFT is needed to know whether asthma is controlled or not.
So better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
