Suggest Treatment For Persistent Diarrhea

Question: I'm 50 and I have had diaria for about 6 days, and my poop is not normal, what should I do?
Brief Answer:
Hello. Plenty of fluids and a soft diet
Detailed Answer:
Hello. For now you need lots of electrolyte rich fluids like juices and GatorAde, along with the BRAT diet--bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. This is probably a stomach virus, but if the diarrhea goes on for a total of seven days, you'll need to see your doctor for stool cultures. If it turns out to be bacterial, you'll need a course of oral antibiotics. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Brief Answer:
No problem
Detailed Answer: XXXXXXX if by cheating you mean going beyond the BRAT diet, that's OK. I'd lay off any alcohol, though. And, for now, lay off antidiarrheals like Imodium

How about probiotics?
Brief Answer:
That's fine
Detailed Answer:
Probiotics wouldn't hurt, but they work better as a preventative--taken to keep this from happening
