Question: I have a headache that doesn't go away with Otc pain killers. It hurts to roll my eyes and when I turn my head, it feels like my brain moves. My middle and lower back have been hurting for days and ibuprofen 600 only help for a while. I also have a very mild temperature that that comes and goes.

Brief Answer:
To rule out meningitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

Based on your symptoms, I would like to primarily rule out meningitis.
Sudden onset headache that doesn't go away with the usual medications should be investigated.

I recommend:
-a physician consult
- a CT scan of the brain to check for signs of infection or increased intracranial pressure.
-blood tests ( complete blood count)
- cerebrospinal fluid analysis, if indicated

Based on these results and clinical findings, a treatment plan will be made. Antibiotics and medications to reduce pressure in the brain will help.

In the meantime, stay hydrated. Avoid driving & do not exert yourself. Hope this helps.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
