Suggest Treatment For Persistent Lump On Tonsil
Question: I have one tonsil that's had a firm, smooth lump on it for about a year and a half. That tonsil is a bit larger than the other one in general. A variety of medical professionals have looked in my mouth for various reasons, and none have mentioned it, but have not been specifically looking at it either. It doesn't hurt, and other than that I'm fine. How concerned about this do I need to be?
Brief Answer:
You are most probably having tonsil lymphoid tissue hypertrophy or cyst.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
As per your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having tonsil lymphoid tissue hypertrophy or tonsil cyst . No need to worry about it .
It is common to have one tonsil larger than other .Kindly upload picture of your throat for more information .
In my opinion , since it doesn't hurt no need for too much concerned .
If I were your treating doctor , I would advice
Antiseptic Mouth Wash twice daily .
You will get relief .
Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
