Question: I fell about a week and a half ago. I did not hit my head but two days later i woke up with a migraine. I do not have the symptoms of a migraine, just the right right side of my head and behind my eye hurts really bad. I have tried cold packs, heating pads and over the counter meds. nothing works. Im getting scared.

Brief Answer:
Concussion to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since you didn't hit the head directly, no loss of consciousness, no vomitng, I think there's no need to worry much more than necessary.

Concussion (due to sudden movements of brain inside the skull) may justify these symptoms.

I think your condition will improve with time.

Plenty of rest, use of paracetamol for few days should be sufficient in such case like yours.

If headaches continue after about one week, you should get evaluated by your primary care Doctor about conditions such cluster headaches.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.
