Question: from ur experience dr
it happen in ur carrier to meet with a patient that he had permanent congestion after septology surgery? and never improved even after monthes or year? incase of this exist any treatment or another surgery to make the patient breeze again ?
did happen that a patient can be congested for ever for example?

Thanks for posting the query

I have understood your problem. You could be suffering from either Vasomotor Rhinitis or Allergic rhinitis. When you are having either of these problems then, Septoplasty would not be beneficial even after removing the block.

Secondly, following septoplasty seldom the nostrils become very roomy, then, there will increased air flow. Roomy nostril will make nasal mucosa less sensitive and may not detect the airflow. Patients feel the nasal block or congestion even though the nostrils are very roomy.

Hence, without examination of the nose it is difficult to comment about your problem.

Yes, I have seen many cases of such sort. My suggestion to you is to consult an apt ENT specialist and get yourself evaluated thoroughly.
