Suggest Treatment For Persistent Night Sweats And Severe Chest Pain
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome back on HCM!
I passed through your concern and would like to explain that these kind of symptoms are more likely to be related to chest wall affection (musculoskeletal injury); probably a trauma or an inflammation/infection could be the reason.
Coming to this point, any anti-inflammatory pain killer drugs (such as Naproxen, Ketoprofen, etc.) could be helpful in this complaint keeps persisting.
Also, I recommend performing some additional tests for a better differentiation of the pain nature and its associated signs (sweating) as follows:
- complete blood count,
- PCR,
- ESR,
- CPK,
- LDH,
- AST & ALT,
- Chest X ray study
You need to discuss with your attending physician on the possibility of performing a careful physical examination and the above mentioned tests.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
