Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In Hands And Feet
Question: Hi Dr XXXXXXX
After having a discussion with you, I went and checked with a physician in Apollo Bannerghatta Road. He stated that my symptoms reflected viral arthralgia and have given HCQS-200 for a month (One tablet per day at night). He said if the pain in hands and feet persisted even after a month, we will go for blood test and then decide next.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As indicated in our previous conversation, this ankle and calf pain seems most likely related to recent viral infection. Some virus are notorious to produced muscle and joint pains which might linger on for couple of months post infection. They are to be treated symptomatically.
In this context treating you symptomatically before scheduling for further laboratory test is a good choice. I suggest you follow the doctor's treatment. Rest at home will be beneficial.
Most cases of viral arthalgia resolve without undue complications. So be least worried. Keep me updated on your improvement in a week or two.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
