Brief Answer:
Needs Arthroscopic debridement

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

AC joint arthritis can be a chronic problem and can thin out the muscles of your shoulder.

Usually after one steroid injection, the second injection does not produce a similar effect and can wear off easily.

It is advisable to get the AC joint debridement or cleaned up by Arthroscopic of key hole surgery. This will help to remove the inflamed synovium, the osteophytes and also examine if there is significant damage to the Rotator cuff tendons and repair them if necessary. This can solve the issue.

As of now, avoid overhead arm abduction, apply hot water bag, take NSAID medication.

Kindly discuss with your Sports Medicine or Shoulder Arthroscopic surgeon in this regard.

I hope I have answered your query.
