Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rashes On The Buttocks And Groin Area

default
Posted on Tue, 13 Dec 2016
Question: I have a rash on my buttocks and my groin area that hasn't gone away after three weeks. I have tried Lotrimin but it only seems to eliminate the itchiness. Some of the bumps have gotten a little larger. Any opinions?

Please kindly upload a photo in our system

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Can you please upload a photo if possible?
It can be a fungal infection and Lotrimin can help heal it, but also can be folicullitis or an eczema which needs other treatments.

Let me have a look at the lesion and I will advice accordingly.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
