Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sores On The Soft Palate

Question: About three years ago I had a sore throat, but it was my soft palate that had the sores. After being sent to an ear, nose and throat specialist, who gave me a steroid to put on the sores,he told me the sores were from Diabetes. The sores didn't go away with the steroids, but they did change into a different shape and changed to a different place. A few months ago I had all my Mercury fillings removed. I saw a decrease in spots and pain. It hasn,t gotten any better since then. I have Diabetes, take metformin, glyburide, and Lantus incillin daily.
