Suggest Treatment For Persistent Spotting And Bleeding Post Abortion
Question: Hi,
I had an abortion (via pills) while I was 5-7 weeks pregnant on April 20, 2016. The process was incomplete (I experience spotting and bleeding and uncomfortable feeling in my lower tummy), Dr advised me to go back for surgery (vacuum) on May 25,2016. Everything was fine after that.
I had sex last week (many times in the row) and now I have Bacteria infection. (very very mild) I just noticed some light odder. I'm very busy and tired of taking medication and antibiotics (they make me veryyy tired and low in energy) I'm very busy with school and can't get sleepy and weak or wait to see a dr for hours...) Can I use the home treatment of inserting Yogurt in vagina or another to not take medication? The odder is mild and no pain.
If I was perfectly healthy, I would use the Yogurt treatments. The only thing that make me worried, if my body is not fully recovered yet for home treatment.

Brief Answer:
Please see Gynecologist before starting self treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
Your body has recovered for home yogurt treatment. Don't worry.
Yogurt may help restore normal vaginal flora in vaginal yeast and some bacterial infection. From your notes you do not seem to have yeast infection. It is a bacterial infection.
But I strongly recommend that you see a Gynecologist to exclude the possibility of STD's. Once that is excluded you can try yogurt insertion in vagina.
I hope this is helpful.
If you have further queries, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
