Brief Answer:
Can be due to a hormonal imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The increase in endometrial thickness can be due to a hormonal imbalance or a dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It is not necessarily associated with a malignancy. It is best to get an endometrial biopsy done to rule out a malignancy after other preliminary investigations.
