Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vomiting

Need an antiemetic, possibly more sedative, IV, and monitoring.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I am sorry you have been so ill. The greenish color is likely to be from bile.
You may need more benzodiazepine to calm your system. I see that you are receiving Valium for the detox. Is your detox being supervised? Possibly a shorter acting benzodiazepine, such as lorazepam, might be helpful. Otherwise, ask about increasing the dose of Valium.
The proton pump inhibitor (Pantoprazol) will help keep the acid production down, but will not stop the vomiting. An antiemetic medication is needed.
If you are detoxing at home, I think, given that you have been throwing up for many hours, it would be wise to go in to an urgent care clinic or ER where they can check your electrolytes, and give you IV fluids along with an antiemetic.
IV fluids can help you feel a lot better family quickly. Also, some antiemetics (meds that stop vomiting) can be very sedating and in combination with the benzodiazepine (Valium), there is the risk of over-sedation. Over-sedation can be risky if you are not being monitored during this time. So I would feel more comfortable if you were monitored as an inpatient for the next 24 hours where your vomiting (and likely dehydration) and detox can be treated and the staff will be able to watch you to make sure you are not unsafely sedated.
I hope this information helps. Please go in - they can help you and you will feel better soon.
