I am 28 years of old, single. I feel i have a problem with pennis. Usually the pennis head part (mashroom) is covered with skin when non-erect stage but for me even after the pennis erected its fully covered with skin. Its completely different from others. My pennis size while erecting it could be 4 to 4.5 inches. After reading few questions in this foroum i feel there is no problem with size of pennis. But only concern is my pennis always covered with outer skin. Please suggest whom to meet for this issue?

Brief Answer:
good health

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM
I understand your concern

Your penis is fully covered with skin in fully erection stage.
It suggests, foreskin cannot go back freely.
It could be a phimosis.
Your problem must be rectified by physical examination.
I would advice to consult the general surgeon and undergo examination.

Treatment of mild condition involves application of steroid creams after bath and try to retract the skin backward.
If problem persist, then minor surgery (circumcision) is the treatment.

Hope I have answered your question
If you have further query then I will be very happy to help you.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar

Hi Doctor,

My question is answered but have few more questions based on your response.

Suppose if I meet any general surgeon and if he suggest me to go for second option (circumcision) after the examination then how much time will take for surgery and how long rest is needed (in hospital as well as in home)?

Also my parents are searching bride for me.So after how many days later I can involve in Sex? So that I can change my marriage plan based on your response.

Is that general surgeon is enough to communicate my problem or need to meet any urologist?

Currently I am staying in XXXXXXX Tamilnadu which is new place for me. It's my request that could you suggest any surgeon name if you any one in XXXXXXX
