Blocked gland likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The small pimple that is present for last 2 months is likely to be due to a blocked gland in the area. It can be a sebaceous cyst. An infected hair follicle is not likely to persist for that long. The presence of pain is suggestive of an inflammation or infection in the area.
If the swelling is less than 1cm in size then it is best to do a hot compress in the area and apply local antiseptic cream like neosporin and see if it helps. In case the pimple is larger then it is best to consult your gynecologist and get it removed. Taking oral antibiotics can also help.
